ABOUT BEN

I started out as a music producer in my teens, and left school at 15 to try and make it as a self-employed artist.

In my early twenties (2008) I built ‘Prime Loops’ from my bedroom, a music e-commerce platform and production house creating modern sound libraries for music producers to help them make better music.

It scaled fast, grew to 25 staff within two years, and became a leading name internationally in the producer space for a few years.

Along the way, we were commissioned for music production work by Apple, Universal and Yamaha. Some of the sounds I produced ended up on tracks by Lady Gaga (bass production), Damian Marley and Chris Brown (chorus and vocal edits).

After years of building and running teams, I hit a stretch of pressure and burnout. That period reshaped what I care about: community, purpose, and creating environments where people can truly connect.

Over almost 20 years, I’ve founded and led projects across creative, tech and community spaces. My focus has stayed the same: building things that help people create, connect, and genuinely improve their lives.

I’m currently building Unseen, a London events company creating offline social experiences for people seeking real connection. `

The mission

Most of my work comes back to the same thing: helping people build lives, relationships, and work that feel genuinely their own.
